Phillip C. Roark, Chief Executive Officer, co-founded H.R. Assistants in 1996. H.R. Assistants, an HR services business, merged with NeoTrek web design, in 2000 to form Insala.

Phillip C. Roark started his career in the US Navy as a Cryptologist.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Communication from West Texas A & M University.

From 1992 until 1998, Phillip C. Roark held positions in human resources, learning and development and the communications field. From 1993 until 1996 he was the National HR Manager for Laidlaw, 1996 to 1998 he was the Corporate HR Manager at Morningstar and 1998 to 2000 the Director of Communications at Atrium Companies.

Since January 2014, Phillip C. Roark has been on the Industrial and Organizational Psychology Advisory Council Board at University of Texas, Arlington.

Phillip is the youngest recipient of the President's Award from the Association of Career Professionals International. Insala has also received inclusion in the Software 500 Magazine rankings, Deloitte's "Fast 50" Program, Ft. Worth Mayor's Award for Exporter of the Year and was identified as one of the top 100 businesses ever started by graduates of the Texas A & M University System.

He created the concepts for, and co-authored the web-based learning and career development systems, EmploymentTalk™ and iCareerManager™ Hi-Impact Mentoring® and AlumniPro™. Today, Insala's solutions have been used by more than 2,500,000 individuals worldwide.
