During his 43-year career, Maan built and exited many successful companies, and invested in, and mentored many others.

As a philanthropist, Maan recently founded Hexa, an Innovation eco-system consisting of 6 global companies; Hexa Ventures, a Venture Studio, TechGenies, a global software development company, Mindtap, a Marketing agency, GoGenies, a sales and support augmentation firm, and TechZillion, a coworking operation in Richardson, Texas and 2 other locations globally.

As an investor, Maan founded TrenData, an AI-based, predictive analytics company, and acquired People360, an HR Tech company. Globally, Maan founded over 12 companies in all 5 continents, and invested in over 30.

As a corporate executive between 1980 and 1994, Maan held senior positions with PageNet, the largest paging company in the world at the time, and telecommunications conglomerate GTE (currently Verizon).

Maan received his BEEE in computer systems engineering from the American University in Beirut and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He also pursued doctoral studies in economics at the University of South Florida.

Maan sits on the board of few companies and is a philanthropist, having established, with the help of his wife Weeda, a global education foundation (www.EducationUnbound.com) for the benefit of disadvantaged kids. The nonprofit acquired NuMinds Enrichment and works on promoting STEAM education globally.

Taito is passionate about empowering enterprises with leading solutions. With over 30 years of business experience, Taito’s current focus is on transforming dynamically shifting and ever-evolving talents to be the core of the change engine for businesses to thrive and gain a competitive advantage.

Taito is an active member and supporter of life transformation programs, and teaches & trains martial arts in Dallas, Texas.

While he was a Director at OffGridBox, the company secured an oversubscribed round of $2m led by Techstars, a global accelerator. Through strategic partnerships with the United Nations, USAID, and international foundations, OffGridBox served clean water and electricity for the first time in thousands of rural homes. Initially, he launched his career by bootstrapping his own software outsourcing company from $0 to $1m by building software for founders in the US and Europe.

His career involved successful fundraising from angels, foundations, and venture capitalists. He was a Superconnector for Harvard University, and a Mentor for MIT (EnergyHack), Climate Solutions Living Lab, and The Canadian Entrepreneurs in New England (CENE). He is a voice for social entrepreneurship as a public speaker at events hosted by MassChallenge, MIT Sloan School of Management, Shell TechWorks, Hult International Business School, Clean Energy Venture Group, MassCEC, World Climate, NCEC, Horizon18, Franklin University Switzerland, Northeastern University, and Harvard College.

In the area of mentoring, Judy has designed and delivered workshops, training, and a complete mentoring methodology. Judy’s mentoring process is the foundation of People360’s mentoring solution we know today. Beyond mentoring,  her thought leadership articles on talent development have been published in journals such as The Diversity Journal and Industrial and Commercial Training and she has spoken at many conferences throughout her career.
